The Puget Creek Natural Area is part of Point White Horn Park in South Tacoma. The creek measures around 4.1 miles long, beginning within the city limits and looping out before draining into the bay. It is a remnant of an ancient Puget Lobe glacial lake, evidenced by the massive log deposits found in the area. The surrounding area contains unique geological formations, including bluffs, sandstone reefs, and boulder piles.
